The Chair presents its teaching and research results to the greater public in the form of conventions and exhibitions.
Since the year 2000, the Chair has undertaken research in the medium of video to lend new impulses to contemporary landscape design. In May 2010 the findings of these studies will be presented to the public in the three-part event Blicklandschaften including a conference, a publication and an exhibition.
A further event highlight of the Chair was the symposium “Designing Nature – About the work of Swiss landscape architect Dieter Kienast (1945-1998)” at the Schaulager Basel at the end of 2008.
