Alexandre Kapellos studied Architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, graduating in 1997. Until 2003, he developed numerous prize-winning competitions and built projects. Thereafter he relocated to Zurich, in order to attend the MAS-CAAD course of Prof. Ludger Hovestadt; exploring new methods in producing and developing architecture using CAD-CAM technologies. Since 2005, he has been teaching Design and CNC modeling at the Institute of Landscape Architecture, ETH Zurich. In parallel, he collaborates on a regular basis with various architecture and design firms in Zurich, Basel and Lausanne, working on small- and large-scale projects.
